This piece is an asymmetrical necklace incorporating wiggly and curly copper shapes and lampwork beads made by Sydney artist Jan Cahill. I've also created a pair of matching earrings to complete the set.

The decorative links and chain have been made from pure copper. It has then be antiqued, tumbled and polished.

The necklace length is 50cm. Earrings are 55mm x 14mm.
The earwires can be switched out for stainless steel for sensitive ears by ticking the checkbox.

The copper has been oxidized and scrubbed with steel wool, tumbled and polished. It will, however, age over time. Your jewellery can be kept shined by rubbing with a jewellery polishing cloth or with steel wool. If you prefer, you can return your item to its fully shiny state by soaking it in lemon juice or salt and vinegar, giving it a brush with and old toothbrush then clean with dish soap, rinse and pat dry with a soft cloth.

**A NOTE: Wire wrapping is a genre of jewellery which requires pliable wire to be shaped into each piece. As a piece progresses, the wire hardens and sometimes it is hammered to further strengthen a piece. It will retain its shape however, if you try to bend it or it gets squashed, it will bend. Do not place your wire wrapped jewellery in a purse or pocket.
