These small cylinder cups have been wheel thrown on a pottery wheel using stoneware clay. The handles have been hand formed and attached after the cylinder has been trimmed. The cups have then been finished with white and red matte glazes. As the cups are first dipped in white and then dipped in red, small flecks of white can be seen through the red glaze which have developed during the firing process, adding to the contrast of colours, and giving the cups a distinctive look.
Dimensions: approximately 7cm in height and 4.5 to 5cm in width. Capacity: 70ml.
