This copper bracelet is a little twist on the traditional. I have woven the main band using multiple gauges of copper wire to create an intricate patter. The two crossing bands have been textured for added interest. The wire is bare copper and has been antiqued, tumbled and hand polished to highlight the texture of the weaves.
The size is 7 inches which is the most common bracelet size.
All of my collection is handmade in Sydney in my home studio in the Hills District.
I take great pride in every piece I create and I hope that you will love your new piece as much as I loved creating it.
Please carefully review the pictures and read the shop policies prior to placing your order.
The copper has been oxidized and scrubbed with steel wool and then polished for a soft patina. The copper has not been sealed and will age over time. Your jewellery can be kept shined by rubbing with a jewellery polishing cloth or with steel wool. If you prefer, you can return your item to its fully shiny state by soaking it in lemon juice or salt and vinegar, giving it a brush with and old toothbrush then clean with dish soap, rinse and pat dry with a soft cloth.
**A NOTE: Wire wrapping is a genre of jewellery which requires pliable wire to be shaped into each piece. As a piece progresses, the wire hardens and sometimes it is hammered and tumbled for further strength. It will retain its shape, however if you try to bend it or it gets squashed, it will bend. Do not place your wire wrapped jewellery in a purse or pocket.
I do my best to take accurate and attractive photos that are true to colour using natural light. Colours will vary slightly from one computer monitor to another.
