These 10cm resin-coated coaster are hand-made, bright and colourful to suit your space, personality and lifestyle, with each coaster an artwork in itself! They also make very thoughtful and personalised gifts for the special people in your lives.
You have the freedom to choose the colours used in the base alcohol ink artwork, as well as your choice of gold, silver or rose gold details.
To create these gorgeous artworks, Amber (the artist behind Shake the Tree Art) creates an alcohol ink artwork on aluminium panel in her home studio in north-eastern Melbourne. The coaster blanks are also produced locally in a small art in Bayswater, VIC.
The artwork is then protected by six layers of varnish including three coats of UV-protectant and subsequently coated in resin embedded which can be embedded with holographic glitter powder (as shown in the example sets) to give a galaxy shimmer effect. The crystal clear resin provides an incredible glass-like finish and also seals and protects the artwork from physical damage and UV-induced fading. Any metallic accents are then added to the piece as a unique and luxurious final touch.
The coasters will come fitted with plastic or felt feet (whichever are in stock, unless otherwise specified) to avoid damage to furniture.
