These earrings were cast from the Coastal Tea Tree plant (Leptospermum laevigatum). This plant is found mainly along the coast, with these particular casts being collected from Narrabeen and Balmoral Beach in NSW. Each seed is different as they are only cast once using the ancient technique of lost wax casting.
The hoops are 10mm and the material used is sterling silver. Each piece of jewellery is shipped in our custom eco-friendly boxes along with a hand written note including information about the common name, scientific name and location of collection of each seed.
Handmade in Sydney, Australia
Please note the pair you receive may not be the exact pair pictured. Each seed is cast individually so there is natural variation in shape and size.
