Black Box Earrings

These earrings were cast from the fruits of a Black Box tree (Eucalyptus largiflorens). They are dainty and light but also capture the unique shape and texture on the surface. Each seed is different as they are only cast once using the ancient technique of lost wax casting. Eucalyptus trees are seen as nurturing trees and are believed to offer healing and protection.

The hoops are 10mm and the material used is sterling silver.  Each piece of jewellery is shipped in our custom eco-friendly boxes along with a hand written note including information about the common name, scientific name and location of collection of each seed.
