Luminous blue speckled lampwork beads are the focal of these unique drop earrings.
The lampwork glass has been made by local Sydney artisan Jan Cahill.
I have used varied gauges of wire woven together to create these beautiful earrings. The wire is bare copper and has been antiqued and hand polished to highlight the texture of the weaves.
I take great pride in every piece I create and as each stone and bead is unique so too is each piece of jewellery. I hope that you will love your new piece as much as I loved creating it.
Please carefully review the pictures and read the shop policies prior to placing your order.
The copper has been oxidized and scrubbed with steel wool and then polished for a soft patina and tumbled for strength. Your jewellery will oxidise over time can be kept shined by rubbing with a jewellery polishing cloth or with very fine steel wool.
Free gift wrapping and gift card available on request.
**A NOTE: Wire wrapping is a genre of jewellery which requires pliable wire to be shaped into each piece. As a piece progresses, the wire hardens and sometimes it is hammered to further strengthen a piece. It will retain its shape however, if you try to bend it or it gets squashed, it will bend. Do not place your wire wrapped jewellery in a purse or pocket.
Natural stones are not perfect. they may have surface or internal characteristics and colour variations.
I do my best to take accurate and attractive photos that are true to colour, using natural light. Colours will vary slightly from one computer monitor to another.
