Stone and copper drop earrings
Delicate stone drops are enclosed by copper weaves to create these lovely earrings. I have used varied gauges of wire to create these beautiful earrings. The wire is bare copper and has been antiqued and hand polished to highlight the texture of the weaves.

The copper has been oxidized and scrubbed with steel wool and then polished for a soft patina. The copper has been lightly waxed but will age over time. Your jewellery can be kept shined by rubbing with a jewellery polishing cloth or with steel wool.

**A NOTE: Wire wrapping is a genre of jewellery which requires pliable wire to be shaped into each piece. As a piece progresses, the wire hardens and sometimes it is hammered to further strengthen a piece. It will retain its shape however, if you try to bend it or it gets squashed, it will bend. Do not place your wire wrapped jewellery in a purse or pocket.
Natural stones are not perfect. they may have surface or internal characteristics and colour variations.
I do my best to take accurate and attractive photos that are true to colour, using natural light. Colours will vary slightly from one computer monitor to another.
